Much cooler today, most turned up with warmer clothes
Jan still bruised after her fall last week, missed today’s walk
It felt very strange walking without her
And there was no one to remind me to drink my water at every stop
Hope she is feeling ok for next week
Nice easy start to this walk
But then a gradual incline
Top layer removed at the first water stop
It was dry but overcast for most of the walk
And quite humid when the wind dropped
Everyone managed the climb to the summit without trouble
And the sun made an appearance for our picnic lunch
The first part of the descent is steep and slippery
Took it really slow and careful
No accidents and no falls today
The rest of the walk is on good tracks
And mostly level
Pleasantly tired when we reached Gata
And much enjoyed a cold drink in the bar
Lovely walk, shame Jan had to miss it
