17 of us again for today’s walk
This included Jenni, who walked with us for the first
time
Bright, sunny morning but with a strong cold
wind
Very pleasant for the walk to Senjia
But windy as we started to climb out of the village
It was cold enough to abandon climbing to the cross
And we had to shorten the banana stop because of
the wind
However quite pleasant as long as we kept moving
We broke up to find shelter from the wind to have our picnic
But again it was too cold to linger for long
Jan distributed the sweets
And the sun came out as we set off again
Much warmer as we walked through the hidden
valley
We were sheltered from the wind and the sun was quite
warm
Though not warm enough to tempt many to remove their
jackets
The path is downhill and more difficult in this direction
By the time we reached the river the wind had dropped and
the sun was warm
We had made good time due to the cold, so we had a break
to enjoy the sun
Followed by an easy stretch back to Lliber
And an enjoyable drink in the square
