18 March 2019 – Parcent to Jalon

15 of us met at Tramonti in Parcent for the planned Bolulla walk

The sky was much more overcast than expected, so we decided to walk from Parcent to Jalon instead.   Four of the group decided to go home

We moved the cars to the start of the walk, and heavy rain arrived.   Another four of the group gave up.

Seven of us went to the bar to have a coffee and see what would happen to the rain.   It stopped and we decided to do the walk, but two gave up and went home

 

So five of us did the alternative walk

We all felt that having prepared and turn up for a walk, we did not want to go home and spend the rest of the day looking out of the window to see what the weather would do.

And the five of us had a very enjoyable, and mostly dry, walk

It did start to rain again as we neared Parcent, but stopped as soon as we put our waterproofs on.
