Lovely sunny morning as eleven of us set off from Gata
We appreciated the shade walking through the woods
This looks like the lost being led by the bewildered
This was our first really hot walking day, a sure sign
summer is getting near
Jan bagged not only the shade, but also the table and
chairs, for our banana stop
We had plenty of water stops whenever there was good
shade
This is Tossal del Moro from the bottom
And this is almost at the top
There are the most fantastic views from the summit
But unfortunately no shade at all
It is a steep and difficult track back down
But Jan and Sue still found time to natter
Lovely to get back into the shady trees and a level path
Longer than normal water break at Font de la Mata
Jan demonstrates that there really is a hole in her
bucket
Longer for Terri and Susan to discuss the worlds
problems, or perhaps what to have for dinner
Mike, Steve and David give an impression of the Three
Wise Monkeys, and Lynn looks on bemused
David and Jan join Barry and Linda in the shade
It is hard to believe that a long walk and a steep climb
on such a hot day could be so much fun
Followed, as always, by a cold drink in a pleasant
Spanish bar
