11 of us for today’s walk
Only three cars, so we did not have to worry about
limited parking space
Bright and sunny, but with a cold wind, so difficult to
know what to wear
All of the climbing is at the start of the walk
So all were well pleased to reach the finca where we have
our banana stop
It was also sheltered from the cold wind
After the climb it is a very pleasant walk on good tracks
Though we were surprised to have to give way to a car in
such a remote spot
We also had to have a group photo of the lovely Marnes
valley
We were soon back on a rough track where we had to watch our feet
We arrived a little early at our picnic lunch area
But no one complained or wanted to wait until 1pm
We were all more than ready for an early lunch
I never did discover what everyone was pointing at
I made sure that I did not lose the track today, unlike
last time we did this walk
The donkey’s were not waiting for us today
But came running when they saw us
Then the final stretch through the lovely valley
And warm enough to sit outside at the bar
