Not surprising that we had a full house of 16 for today’s
walk
The valley was in full bloom and we had a sunny day to
see it at its best
The forecast was a cloudy day, so the sunshine was a
welcome surprise
Nice to see everyone in shorts and shirtsleeves again
We did a slightly different route than last year
We started with a circular walk from Parcent towards
Murla
Then back to Parcent for our banana break
Lots of blossom between Parcent and Alcalali
And plenty of stops for photo opportunities
I took 61 photos, plus contributions by David and Mike
It was really difficult to choose just 20 for the blog
Lunch was at the Alcalali mirador
We have had a lot of picnics here on cloudy and overcast
days
So it was a pleasant change to have a sunny lunch here
The views of the valley were also spectacular
It’s also a pleasant change to have proper seats to sit
on
A little water in the river, but quite easy to ford
Then another loop towards Jalon
And a detour back to Parcent
Great walk, with pleasant company and ideal walking
weather
