We had sixteen again for our second Almond Blossom Walk
We repeated the same walk as last Thursday
It was good to have Rita back for her first walk since
her accident
We also welcomed Danuta for her first walk with the group
When I took the first photo I realised that I had brought
my old camera, which does not have a memory card
Fortunately we had our banana stop near the house and I
was able to walk home to get my new camera
It was bright and sunny for the start of our walk, and
our banana stop
But it started to cloud over as we left Parcent for
Alcalali
It was still very pleasant and quite comfortable walking
But the blossom did not look its best without the sun
We had our lunch at the Alcalali mirador again
It was quite chilly without the sun so we had a short
picnic
The river was easy to cross
Though this local seemed bemused about the whole thing
We soon warmed up as we walked to Jalon
The blossom was still in full bloom
But we could see that it was lucky that we had not
delayed the walk for much longer
Some of the trees have started to sprout green leaves and
lose their blossom
It was a shame that we had not had constant sunshine like
last Thursday
But it was still a very enjoyable walk in great company
