10 January 2019 – Lleus to Pinos

16 of us today, despite the weather
This included Nick and Janet who we have not seen for some time
Also Tom and Sue who are on a short visit

The forecast was a 20% chance of rain

Which is an 80% chance that it will not rain
However today our luck deserted us
It was dry as we left Lleus
But started to drizzle as we started to climb
Fortunately it had stopped before we reached the gorge
But the ground was much wetter than I expected

So we were particularly careful on the wet rocks
Not to mention the muddy fields
The biggest problem was that it was too cold to stop for long for our banana break
Fortunately it was dry when we reached Pinos
And the sun came out as we had our picnic

The return journey was much more pleasant
Especially when this dog adopted us
He walked with us for about half of the way back to Lleus
Then left us and returned home
Despite the weather it was a very enjoyable walk and gave everyone the opportunity to show just how stoic they could be
Map of Walk
