We arrived just in time for the annual Father Christmas
visit to Rothbury
Jack, Georgia and Chloe look pleased with their present
Christmas morning always starts early
Jack is happy providing he has lots of computer games and
chocolate
Storm (the dog) is happy providing he is in the centre of
everything going on
After Christmas we took Storm to Whitley Bay
Jack would rather be at home on his computer, but hid it
well
The beach was packed with dog walkers, obviously a
favourite spot
It was very cold, but we kept the children going with the
promise of a visit to the arcade followed by chips
Michelle and Georgia missed the trip as they went to the
cinema in Newcastle
We had a sunny, but very cold, day for our walk on
Cragside
This is one of our favourite walks, and we usually do it
once each visit
We bought pies from the famous Rothbury butcher for our
picnic
And borrowed Michelle’s very pink haversack
We were surprised to find Stuart and Chloe in the hot tub
when we finished the walk
Stuart and Michelle try to tempt us to use the hot tub,
but it has no attraction on a freezing cold December afternoon
